I am a Marketing Professional who uses analytics, research and strategic creative content to create effective marketing for business branding & growth.
I am a mother and animal lover & am passionate about all things marketing. I am a FIERCELY positive and driven person who strives to live with intention, kindness & purpose. I love learning & believe that growth personally & professionally is something that should never stop. My biggest joys are my children including my two labs. My favorite things to do in my free time, besides spending time with family, are cooking, reading just about anything I can get my hands on, tending to my plants, hiking or walking with my labs, and just about anything outside.
EDUCATION
I started my marketing educational journey at LSU, then attended the University of Texas Arlington and Western Governers University where I received my Bachelor of Science in Business Marketing that included specialization certifications in Marketing and Management. I am currently pursuing my Master of Science in Marketing Analytics which I will complete this year (Summer of 2023.) This masters program focuses on digital marketing data for decision-making with specialization courses in digital marketing analytics and search engine optimization and also includes the following specialization certifications:

My Professional Journey
My marketing journey started right out of high school when I started my educational journey in marketing at LSU. Since that time I have worked in advertising & marketing at Broadcast communication companies such as Cumulus Broadcasting & M&M Broadcasting, I then moved on to Agency advertising with Dexone. As a Marketing Executive at both broadcast companies & Dexone, my focus was on broadcast, digital/online, social media, email, text & marketing event initiatives for branding & targeted strategies for companies' specific objectives as well as content creation & direction for organic branding & growth.
In the entrepreneurial space, I created two of my own start-up small businesses. One a local advertising & marketing company, Shop Local Centex, and the other an Insurance Agency, Smith Insurance Co. Shop Local Centex worked with local small businesses to brand and grow their business through print, broadcast, digital/online & social media strategies, campaigns & marketing events. At Smith Insurance Co I operated as the Marketing & Sales Director where I created the company's marketing & sales procedures, strategies, and budgets from the ground up, as well as, developed and executed all campaigns and initiatives. I was able to sell both businesses for profit due to their success.
In 2021, I again joined the corporate world after I sold my insurance agency and accepted a talent acquisition partner position with McLane Company, a national supply chain company. At McLane Company I Collaborate with C-Suite Executives, Hiring Managers, and HR Business Partners to understand and anticipate hiring needs and proactively identify strategic recruiting solutions to meet those needs. I construct a compelling message and articulate value proposition aligning competing incentives and priorities to build market position and achieve SMART targets for each Distribution Center through online presence, social media platforms, professional online platforms, radio, print, networking and with local & national events.
